Factiverse had the privilege of contributing to a high-level roundtable discussion hosted by Rasmussen Global in Brussels in February 2025.

Europe position in the global tech race is seemingly becoming more perilous considering the rapid developments within AI. These kinds of discussions are becoming critical to consider how EU can establish itself as a powerhouse in the AI space.

A standout note from this roundtable discussion was that Factiverse was highlighted as a key performer in the Europe’s tech for good space. Having our mission gravitate to influential policy discussions like this adds substantiates the mission Factiverse has.

Factiverse Contribution to the Discussion

Factiverse is aiming to take the role of advancing ethical and responsible AI tech. Our technology is built on this very principle and we advocate at every turn the importance of developing our new AI tools with this very principle in mind.

It was fantastic to hear that Factiverse embodies the "tech for good" movement in a European context.

The EU has some unique strengths that it can leverage to enable more startups like Factiverse to succeed. With its world renowned universities and research institutions, abundant high-quality data, and a focus on rights and values are the right series of elements to push forward more Tech for Good Initiatives.

The news of an AI Office being devised as a one-stop-shop for everything AI in the EU is really necessary group that can enable this movement within Europe.

Next steps for Europe’s Tech Future

The conversation concluded that there should be stronger calls for stronger collaboration between policymakers, the tech industry, and civil society within Europe.

Factiverse will contribute to these discussions whenever possible in order to drive this change within Europe.

Next steps for Europe

Europe stands at a pivotal moment in the race to lead in AI and digital innovation. With the right policies, financial frameworks, and collaborative efforts, it has the potential to shape the future of technology in a way that reflects its values and aspirations.

However, this opportunity is fleeting. To maintain its competitive edge, Europe must foster a thriving ecosystem that encourages innovation, attracts investment, and ensures balanced regulation. The synergy between these elements is essential to unlocking the full potential of its tech sector.

By contributing to the broader dialogue on regulation and scaling tech companies, this can display confidence that Europe can become a global leader in AI innovation, while maintaining its commitment to fairness and transparency.
