Earlier this summer Maria Amelie, CEO of Factiverse, participated in a panel at the News Summit impact 2021 (which is powered by European Journalism Centre and Google News Initiative). The panel discussed Ai, Deepfakes, and how journalists can take on the challenges presented by both Ai and Deepfakes.

The main question asked was: How can journalists know what’s real? Joining her in the panel was Sam Gregory from WITNESS and Glyn Mottershead from the City University of London. The moderator was Tara Kelly (Data editor for EJC`s Datajournalism.com).You can watch the panel here.
