With the launch of chatGPT, the interest in AI exploded, and so is the interest in our API to verify chatbot generated content. We participated in three great events this month - First Friday Coffee, Future Future Day at Epicenter Oslo and Lys og Mørke with SINTEF and Forskningsparken - Oslo Science Park.
At Epicenter, we shared the stage with Eirik Norman Hansen, Morten Goodwin from Universitetet i Agder (UiA), Sina Nek Akhtar from Google and Per Christian Strand Teslo from Snap Inc. We raised issues of lack of diversity in new AI models and how chatGPT can be easily manipulated to create misleading and directly false content.
The discussion at Lys og Mørke went deeper into machine learning. Inga's explanation of machine learning is one of the clearest and most understandable we have seen. We also discussed the need to regulate artificial intelligence technology. If our reality can be hacked - what is true? See the discussion with Maria Amelie in Factiverse, Inga Strümke, PhD and AI researcher from NTNU, and Anders Løland, Head of Research at Norsk Regnesentral. https://lnkd.in/dX5c8M2y
Also, check out other events that are part of Lys og Mørke series at Forskningsparken!
